Note types

Five types of notes can be produced by a profile (see Watch profiles to configure cadences):

In addition, a Flash note can be generated on demand from the Digests section in about 30 seconds, without waiting for the next automatic send.

Generate manually

1. In the Digests section, click Generate note.
2. Select a profile from the Select a profile dropdown.
3. Add an optional Angle to guide the synthesis. Example: "Focus on regulatory implications at the European level." The angle is integrated into the generation prompt.
4. Click Generate. The Note in progress... indicator appears during generation (~30 seconds).
5. The note appears at the top of the digest list once ready.

If the message No signal for this period — try again later appears, no relevant articles have been recently analysed for this profile. Check that your sources are active and that your keywords match published content.

Deliverable language

The language notes are written in is independent of the Sentinel interface language. Two levels of configuration:

• Per profile — in the profile settings, the Deliverable language field (French, English or Italian). This allows one profile in French and another in English on the same account.
• Per account — in Settings → Deliverable language. Switches all profiles at once to the chosen language.

Articles in foreign languages are analysed and synthesised in the deliverable language configured on the profile.

Send by email

1. From a note, click Send by email.
2. The Send intelligence note window shows the recipients configured for this profile.
3. To add a one-off address (without saving it to the profile), click Add address, enter the email and confirm.
4. Click Send.

The email received by the recipient contains a View in Sentinel → deep-link directly to the note, and for strong-signal alerts, a View article → link to the primary source.

Copy as Markdown

Click Copy to copy the note in Markdown format. A Copied as Markdown message confirms the action. Useful for pasting into Notion, Obsidian, your CRM, Teams or any Markdown-compatible editor.

White-label PDF export

Export your note as a PDF in your firm's branding. The PDF does not mention Sentinel Briefing — your clients only see your brand. Available on Team, Firm and Enterprise plans.

The PDF includes your firm's header, the formatted note with cited sources in the footer, and the AI transparency label.

All Sentinel-generated notes display at the bottom:

This label appears in the application, in digest emails and in PDF exports. It is a reminder to cross-check key findings against primary sources before sharing with clients. Each note also lists the sources used for generation (publisher, date, link).
